I've started collecting and trading scout camp patches!
Please check out my page dedicated to this hobby, it would really make my day. I have a list of patches I currently own, as well as patches I am trading if anyone is interested. While I focus mostly on camp patches, I'd trade for council and event patches too. Take a look!

I came across this via an ad/side-story on livejournal. Although I never made Eagle (the calendar beat me out), I still have great memories of Boy Scouts (I'm in my '30s now).

As far as this patch, I honestly have no idea. However, the image looks like a glass cutter's tool. The wheeled end scribes the glass, and depending on the thickness of the glass, you'd take and "grasp" the glass with the appropriate sized gap in the tool and "flex" the glass until it cracked along the scribed line. Years back, stained glassing used to be popular. Using the stained glass, lead, solder, and other bits. Is there any record of Girl Scouts working with stained glass?
Hope this helps.
Take care.
